#Roommates, if you’ve recently stocked up on eggs, you may want to double-check your carton. According to wfaa, a Texas egg producer has voluntarily recalled nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs after they were found to have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis, per the FDA.

The recall affects white shell and brown cage-free eggs produced by Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. between June 6 and July 3. The eggs were sold under several brands, including Kroger, Simple Truth Cage Free, Brookshire’s, Country Morning, and Sunups, at stores across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Mississippi.
