Today we’re celebrating National Black Women in Sports Day, created by diverserepresentation , and shining a spotlight on one of our own. ✨🎾 A huge congratulations to our first female Lead Coach Femi, who has successfully completed her LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualification after an extensive process. This is an incredible milestone and a reflection of the hard work, commitment and passion she’s shown throughout her coaching journey. When Femi first joined Black Tennis Mentors, she was looking for an opportunity to grow within the game. Since then, she’s continued to develop her knowledge, build her confidence, inspire players on court, and become a role model for the next generation, primarily women and girls. Representation matters. Seeing more Black women leading, coaching and creating opportunities in sport is how we continue to change the game.
