I’ve been playing with the Babolat Pure Aero Gen9 for a bit now (I even had the opportunity to use it in two matches this past week) and I wanted to share a real, club-level take — not from a pro, just someone who genuinely loves the game and is always trying to improve.
What I noticed right away was how easy the spin comes. On days when my footwork is showing up and I’m swinging freely, the racquet just wants to accelerate. The new aerodynamic throat design really does make it feel faster through the air, especially on forehands hit on the rise — and that extra RPM shows up in heavier, deeper balls without me feeling like I’m over-swinging.
