Celebrating over a century of excellence at Our Lady of Lourdes School for #catholicschoolsweek! Our journey began in 1915, with the original building constructed to house both the church and school. The school was on the main floor and included 4 classrooms, a library, and an auditorium. The steps leading up to that building from Washington Street still stand today! In 1926, the first Bernadette Hall which sat approximately where Lyons Hall is now was built to accommodate the growing number of students. In 1954, Lyons Hall was constructed by F. A. Wilhelm Co providing a gym with pull out bleachers, stage, trophy room & offices on the first floor and the basement included spacious cafeteria with kitchen and locker rooms with access to a bi-level choir room (now our computer room). This building was dedicated to Msgr. Lyons and the nickname for all the Lourdes' teams became "The Lyons".
