Stabbing victim Moshe Grunhaus’ friend says he is grateful to be alive and discharged from the hospital before Shabbos. Hate crime charges are being pursued. Grunhaus’s friend Nava told NBC New York he was scheduled to move out of NYC and back to Florida next week. Mayor Zohran Mamdani issued his third statement about the Upper West Side stabbings as he faces criticism from rabbis and Jewish groups concerned his recent rhetoric about AIPAC, Israel and arresting Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has contributed to an unsafe environment. “I am thankful that he is being held accountable and hope he will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This kind of despicable violence is not who we are as a city. Every New Yorker deserves to be safe, regardless of their religion or race,” Mamdani said Friday evening. “Our administration will always stand against bigotry and do everything in our power to root out antisemitism, racism, and hateful acts of all kinds.” #zohranmamdani #nyc #nbc...
