Visitors to the Columbia River Gorge can see thousands of years of Indigenous history through carved petroglyphs and painted pictographs, including the world-famous Tsagaglalal (“She Who Watches”), visible at the Columbia Hills Historical State Park in Lyle, Washington. Tickets to see Tsagaglalal and dozens of other art panels that remain where they were created are free, but limited. The mile-long, rocky walking tour takes about 90 minutes and is only offered starting at 9 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from April 1-Oct. 31.
