Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how often triangulation and jealousy are used as subtle tools for self-validation... and how deeply cruel they actually are.
Triangulation happens when a third person is brought into a relationship dynamic, either through flirting, unchecked boundaries, or blurred lines. When someone allows a third party to trigger their partner's jealousy—and especially when they laugh it off or minimize it—they aren't being "detached" or "harmless." They are planting seeds of doubt in someone else's mind to feed their own vanity.
