Today, I was watching a reel of a “yoga influencer” in Swedish about relaxing the nervous system. However, her voice carried an underlying, rushed anxiety, and her hands were constantly fidgeting. This isn’t a critique of her, anxiety is a shared reality for almost everyone these days. But it made me reflect on something vital: I completely lost focus on her message because my brain was too busy processing the stress her body and tone were transmitting.
