Boston’s busiest airport experience is getting a major upgrade.
A $1 billion-plus renovation is moving forward for Logan Airport’s Terminal C, which handles about 30% of the airport’s passenger traffic.
The redesign will feature brighter, more open spaces with higher ceilings, skylights, expanded seating, and additional restaurants and shops. Plans also include improvements to aircraft positioning, helping planes taxi more efficiently and reducing time spent idling on the ground.
JetBlue, Logan’s largest Terminal C tenant, and development partner Vantage Group are expected to fund the project, with additional approvals still needed before construction begins.
