Massachusetts continues to set the standard for public education. A new WalletHub report ranked Massachusetts as the best state in America for public schools, based on 32 measures of K-12 education, including school quality and safety. The Bay State also ranked No. 1 for school quality and No. 2 for school safety, with strong student performance in reading, math and Advanced Placement exams helping secure the top spot.
