Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of videos on my feed of small children getting coached by their parents and it got me thinking, “what kind of father-coach am I going to be?” Just like many parents, I’m going to spend a lot of time trying to make sure my children do no repeat the same mistakes I made as a child, and when it comes to tennis, I WISH I WOULD’VE DEVELOPED MY FOOTWORK way more than I did in the early stages of playing. This sport is played with your feet first. Not your hands, not the racquet…everything below your waist! Catch me on the tennis court within the next 10 years running my kids around with not one ball or racquet in sight.
