Wow! The difference of 2 years! I’m a sucker for a good before and after video; whether it’s weight loss or a different hair style. It’s just really cool to see a vision come to fruition. Back in 2023, I had a vision for what I wanted my tennis to be like. I wanted to be able to keep up in a friendly rally with my buddies who have played their entire life. I knew this would be no easy feat, so I dedicated a lot of days over the last few years to being on court. In the midst of attempting to get better, I would call my friend zennyphantom (the person who got me into tennis) and I’d complain and whine as I asked, “bro, how do I get better? Why am I not getting better?” And every single time, he’d respond with the simple phrase: “you just gotta keep being on court bro”. As I look at where I was in 2024 and where I am now, that advice couldn’t be more true. Whatever your court is, if you want to improve, you have to be on it more than you’re not.
