D1 player vs club player of the same school. Is there a huge gap? So this was a very fun and interesting experience, because club tennis gets a bad reputation for having players that couldn’t make it D1, but in reality sometimes that is not true. Club players sometimes burn out with tennis and chooses the academic route. This result was pretty cool because it shows I can still compete at a good level although my shot quality is lower.
