A Suffolk judge sentenced a drunken driver who fatally struck a Nassau County police officer earlier this year to 7 1/3 to 22 years in state prison Monday. Matthew Smith, 21, of Hauppauge, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and other charges last month in the Lake Grove crash that killed Officer Patricia Espinosa in January.
