A 27 year old manager at a West Valley car wash is sitting in a Maricopa County jail on four felony counts involving a 17 year old employee he supervised.
Christian Bourn was arrested by Surprise police on July 21 and booked on four felonies, including two counts of conduct with a minor, luring a minor for exploitation and child enticement. Court records say the incident happened June 11 in a Walmart parking lot near Prasada Gateway Avenue.
The investigation started June 18 when a coworker called police. Court records say the teen had already raised it inside the company before anyone contacted law enforcement. The company has not publicly commented and has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Police say Bourn denied any contact with the teen when he was taken into custody, and that his account shifted several times before he acknowledged it. He appeared in court July 23, remains in jail on a $55,000 bond, and his next hearing is set for July 28. He has not been convicted, and every ...
