Three Arizona suspects were arrested after an AirTag hidden inside a paint bucket allegedly helped expose a $38,000 theft ring. 😳🎨 Investigators say the group spent nearly two months breaking into locked storage containers at construction sites across Goodyear, Surprise, Buckeye and Pinal County. After multiple burglaries, an employee reportedly slipped an AirTag into one of the buckets. That tracker led authorities to an Avondale apartment complex and helped connect the suspects to at least seven separate thefts. Police later recovered 270 five-gallon paint buckets, along with bolt cutters and cut locks. Court documents say the suspects admitted selling the stolen paint for just $25 to $40 per bucket to help pay their bills. The three were booked on six counts of burglary and one count of trafficking stolen property. A fourth suspect is still being sought.
