Your dog eating better than you at happy hour is now a real Arizona thing. Pedal Haus Brewery is running a “dogs eat free” deal during happy hour, Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. During that window your pup can get free bacon, a ground hamburger patty, or chicken, on the house. Founder Julian Wright said the idea hit him when he saw a “kids eat free” sign somewhere. “I’m like, bingo, let’s do dogs eat free.” The brewery’s been dog-friendly for its full 10 years and has raised money for dog charities along the way. The patios come with misting, shade, and fans, so nobody’s melting in the summer heat. For the humans, happy-hour bites run $5 to $9, think chili cheese fries, nachos, pretzel knots with beer cheese, and a burger, plus their German-style lagers.
