James Harden is getting into the sandwich game, and he’s picked Scottsdale to do it.
The NBA star and former Arizona State standout is part of the ownership group bringing Smiling Moose Sandwich Grill to the Valley. The grand opening is set for August 17 at 10:30 a.m. near Scottsdale and Thomas roads.
To kick things off, the first 100 customers get a free 6-inch “Mo” signature sandwich and a $50 Adidas gift card, courtesy of Harden. The menu runs made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, burgers, soups, salads, and freshly baked cookies.
It’s a real Sun Devil operation too. The ownership group also includes former pros Troy Payne and Nico Fricchione, who both played hoops at ASU. Smiling Moose first opened in Colorado back in 2003.
Are you showing up early for that Adidas card?
