A former Arizona correctional officer has been arrested after investigators say he exchanged weeks of disturbing messages with someone he allegedly believed was a 16-year-old girl. The person behind the account was actually a California YouTuber known as “Big Bad Wolf,” who uses decoy profiles to identify adults attempting to contact minors. The creator says he confronted Aaron Slaughter in Florence before turning cellphone evidence over to police. Court records say investigators reviewed conversations that included inappropriate images and discussions about meeting. The YouTuber also claims Slaughter accessed Snapchat from a computer inside the prison where he worked. Slaughter was arrested July 15 and charged with one count of aggravated luring of a minor.
