A single-vehicle crash left a car sitting in a Scottsdale canal near 68th Street and McDowell Road Friday morning. Scottsdale fire crews responded around 9 a.m., but everyone inside the vehicle had already made it out before they arrived. One person was evaluated for minor injuries. Police said the canal was approximately three to five feet deep, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
