I’d have them as high as 4th, out of respect for New York, Oklahoma City and SanAnton I was adamant as #freeagency dragged on that Philadelphia was LeBron’s best basketball fit. They have enough players filling key roles like ball handling, point-of-attack defense, and isolation defense so that LeBron won’t be stretched thin on either end of the floor. Excellent athleticism across the roster also bodes well! They’ll probably have to look into backup Center upgrades later in the season if Bona-Hukporti-Broome don’t work out—you just can’t rely on Joel Embiid for extended stretches. I think ultimately it made sense for LeBron to avoid the Western Conference and the juggernauts of OKC and San Antonio.
