The Heart-Shaped Hotel has been approved! The hotel is planned to be built on the failed ferris wheel site on the south strip across from Mandalay Bay. It will bring a “Sphere-like facade meets Fremont Street” attraction to the South Strip. Developed by Eli Applebaum through Kulik River Capital and designed by Steelman Partners, the hotel will feature a 29-story tower with a heart-shaped full-height LED display screen. The pillars from the previous failed ferris wheel project will stay, with plans to build a third pillar for a Sky Vue Restaurant. Plans also call for 752 hotel rooms, a casino, 42,000 sq. feet of convention space, multi-level pool area, retail shops, multiple restaurants, and a covered-canopy pedestrian plaza that will act as a Mini-Fremont Street. #lasvegas #vegas #vegasstrip #lasvegasstrip
