On the last day of Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week, Maia tells us about her dreams for the future and how she balances playing professionally alongside her university studies 🎾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📚 “One of my earliest memories of playing tennis was in my back garden with my brother and sister, we used to draw chalk lines on the ground to make a mini court,” she laughs. “I most enjoy the competitive side of matches and tournaments. It’s a sport where you can never get bored as there are so many different shots and different ways you can play on the court – no two matches are the same. I’m most proud of winning three professional singles and doubles titles, and one day I’d love to be within the top 50 best players in the world.
