Orthopedic surgery for the win! 🥇 🦴 👉 For those wondering, I had planned to go into cardiology at the beginning of medical school but ultimately chose orthopedic surgery (a.k.a. The Way of the Hammer) later in the game 🔨 😷 Don't get me wrong… cardiology is a great field. In fact, my dad and uncle are cardiologists (now retired). I just couldn't handle the countless hours of rounding in the hospital and super long, detailed progress notes. ✅ Orthopedics was a better choice for me. “Bone broke, must fix!” is more my style.
