Here are the selected playwrights from Singapore and Malaysia for Nusantara Open Circle, our mentorship programme! Congratulations Ruzaini Rashid (mentored by playwright Zizi Majid) and Hadi Deric (mentored by writer, director and producer Leysha Al-yahya)! These playwrights were selected from our Open Call for Nusantara Open Circle 2027. Over the coming months, they will refine their original scripts through group workshops and mentorship before presenting them as dramatised readings at Esplanade in January 2027.
