Today’s #Artist365 artist is Mary Dumas, found in Studio 324. Mary Dumas an active member of the Boston Comics Roundtable and Comics Connection, is also a selected participant in Small Press Expo and Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo. She started her twelve year tenure at Western Avenue Studios as a stained glass artist, followed that with a stint designing costumes for a drag queen troop, and now dips her toe into fine arts painting both scenery and portraits. But Mary’s ongoing obsession is creating stories that come to life as sequential art, comic books.
