We here at Spec Ops Tools have always had a mission of giving back to veteran causes. Sometimes people wonder why we specifically opted to give to veteran charities, or why we made it so central to our core and identity. When we explain it to these curious folks, we can only tell them, "We give to them because they're us". From the president on down to the most junior associate, we've got veterans with a story of service. One of those veterans is Josh, our product and field research manager. Josh was enlisted in the US Army from 2008 until 2013. During his enlistment, he was stationed at Fort Campbell Kentucky. He deployed in 2010 to eastern Afghanistan, where he served as a machine gunner and saw combat against taliban forces. In the civilian world, Josh received his MBA from Bryant University and brings tool experience from his days working as a deck and pergola builder.
