Officer Alvarado of Salinas Police Department was shot and killed in the line of duty while making a traffic stop. Alvarado also served in the army infantry, part of the 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT). A Spec Ops Tools team member had the honor of serving in the military with Officer Alvarado: "He was a great guy, but an even better soldier, his heroic actions of staying in the fight is no surprise to those who knew him."
