#BereketAbraham, part of the #CoolKicks YouTube group and shoe store, has been indicted along with 11 others by US officials over a $2 million #Nike theft case that has been running for years. Bereket found himself in hot water over connections to an alleged organized cargo theft ring, which had been stealing Nike shoes from distribution centres in #Tennessee.  As per the US Attorney’s offics Abraham is alleged to be part of a group of 12 who operated from 2021 to 2024, transporting stolen Nike products across the US.  According to the indictment, the products were worth up to $2 million, and the defendants would “place shipping labels to predetermined locations throughout the United States where they would retrieve and resell the stolen product,” after identifying what they wanted to resell.
