#TRAVELTUESDAY 👩🏼‍⚕️🌍 This week we’re highlighting Ava First AC ’23 and her incredible medical mission trip to Livingstone, Zambia, Africa. As a nursing student in the Capstone College of Nursing, Ava traveled to Africa where she helped provide medical care through pop-up clinics in villages and schools. Alongside her team, she cared for 868 patients, making a meaningful impact while gaining a new perspective on service, gratitude, and the power of compassionate healthcare. Ava says the experience changed her life and encouraged her to grow not only as a student nurse, but as a person. Her advice? “Take the trip and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! I would choose this experience over and over again, and I am so grateful!” Thank you Ava for representing ADPi through your compassion, service, and dedication to making a difference around the world 🤍 #alabamaadpi #etachapter
