The Opening Ceremony of the XXV Central American & Caribbean Games was a fitting celebration of the Centennial Games—bringing together sport, culture and the spirit of our region. One hundred years after the inaugural Games were held in Mexico City, Santo Domingo came alive with the Parade of Nations, spectacular cultural performances, unforgettable live music—including a performance from Ky-Mani Marley—and the lighting of the ceremonial cauldron to officially open the Games.
