🎾 Creating more opportunities. Developing more leaders. Earlier this week, I had the privilege of delivering another LTA Activator Training Course at Butterfly Tennis Club in partnership with london_youth , bringing together 19 participants from a range of community and sports organisations. The group represented a fantastic mix of ages, backgrounds and experiences, all united by a passion for making a difference through sport. For many, this was their first introduction to tennis, and tennis coaching. Others work across multi-sport settings and left with new ideas, activities and the confidence to incorporate tennis into the programmes they already deliver within their communities. The Activator course is an amazing stepping stone into coaching, leadership and community engagement. It provides people with the confidence to take that first step and, for many, sparks an interest in progressing onto the LTA Level 1 Coaching Course.
