Last week I had the pleasure of delivering a careers talk to the Year 6 pupils at Lyndhurst Primary School, and it was genuinely one of the most inspiring sessions I’ve been part of! The pupils were engaged from start to finish, asking thoughtful, inquisitive questions that went far beyond what you might expect for their age. It was brilliant to see so much curiosity, ambition and confidence in the room, and it reminded me just how important it is to give young people opportunities to hear different journeys and understand what’s possible for their own futures. Lyndhurst holds a special place for us as it’s our local primary school, just up the road from Butterfly Tennis Club. For the past five years, we’ve also delivered our weekly free bursary tennis sessions there, introducing children to the sport and creating opportunities for those who may not otherwise have access to tennis.
