This week, I had the honour of speaking at the LTA Tennis Foundation Annual Report launch at the House of Lords, an inspiring event that highlighted the ongoing commitment to making tennis more accessible across the UK.
As someone who grew up playing on park courts, this topic is deeply personal to me. I spoke about the impact of being a coaching provider at Streatham Vale Park through the LTA Parks Project, and how these spaces offer a first, vital step into the sport for so many, especially at a time when private clubs can be financially out of reach or oversubscribed.
Park courts do more than provide access, they create belonging. Initiatives like Free Parks Tennis bring communities together and ensure tennis is something everyone can experience.
Iโm truly impressed with the work the LTA and LTA Tennis Foundation have done to open the sport up, and Iโm excited for whatโs coming next! ๐พ๐๐พ
