Buzz is a collaboration platform released by Block, the company co-founded by Jack Dorsey that also operates Square, Cash App, Afterpay, and Tidal. According to Block’s announcement, Buzz is built on Nostr, a decentralized protocol for signed messages and portable identities. The platform includes channels, threads, direct messages, voice, media sharing, code repositories, and automated workflows, and Block describes the interface as similar to existing team communication tools.
