Is this THE SUPRA to get? The TRD 3000GT is basically a homologated road version of the Supra GT500 racecar from JGTC. Take an A80 Supra and add wider bodywork, improved airflow and cooling, a new spoiler and larger intercooler. This model began life as a 1994 A80 Supra RZ and was converted to TRD 3000GT spec at Toyota’s Shibaura plant in 2001. It’s got HKS tuning hardware and about 35,000 miles, but the wide range in its estimate indicates even the auction house isn’t sure what it’s worth. What do you think?
