Edmundo Sosa made an impressive spin-o-rama play to field the ball during a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets. It was a great defensive play, but his throw accidentally hit first-base umpire Junior Valentine in the face. The game stopped while the medical staff checked on Valentine. He had a small cut near his eye but was able to stay in the game. The play became memorable because it started with an amazing defensive move but ended with an unfortunate accident.
