Lo and behold, a slave catcher pulled up in front of the restaurant a few minutes after we arrived. Not because they were called for someone who needed help, but because we’ve been on their radar. The one that pulled up, was on the phone for the entirety of his stay, and he called for a second officer to pull up, to do absolutely nothing. This is not to put fear in anyone’s heart to do what we do, but it is to give yall a reality check about how distorted the priorities are of these slave catchers. They aren’t trying to find missing children, solving a murder, deescalate altercations, help someone’s grandmother run errands, or anything beneficial for the people.
