“I think at times it’s difficult when you, when you don’t know the Y of someone’s actions, and there’s 8 episodes, 20 characters, and there’s only so much time you can give to each storyline. That’s the way of this show, and that’s why it’s so successful, because there’s so many great storylines to follow. But there was a 10 year gap that took place between season one and halfway through season one and second half season one, and we never got to really understand what went on. And I think that is the culminating time in this person’s life, so the one we meet him at the top of the second half of season one, why he’s become who he is, you know. And so you have to kind of figure that out as an actor yourself, and that’s not necessarily the easiest thing to do.
