Continuing on with our U25 core rankings, we've got the Colorado Avalanche at #30. Gavin Brindley has already shown he can be a top-nine forward at the NHL level, and I think he has top-six potential too. But he can hang in the league nonetheless and is only 22. Goalies are weird, but Ilya Nabokov is one of the best goalie prospects at the moment and I'd be shocked if he didn't become a tandem guy at the NHL level at least. Svechkov & L'Heureux are both already NHLers, but more so bottom-sixers. At worst they'll stay that way and still be depth providers, I think they can both elevate to a full time third-line checking forward role though. Gulyayev seems like a solid prospect, but still continuing to sign in Russia, his NHL probabilities keep going down, probably hovering around 50% at this point.
