The Portland Rose Festival kicked off on the opening day of CityFair at Tom McCall Waterfront Park Friday, May 26, 2023. Festivities started with an opening ceremony, ribbon cutting and 9:50 p.m. fireworks show that thundered till 10:20 p.m. Events will last three weeks and feature carnival rides, live music, arcade games, vendors and food booths.
