Happy trails, Ranger Shelton Johnson! 🥾
After 39 years with the National Park Service, Johnson retired over the weekend.
Back in 2022, National Park Trust was proud to name him our American Park Experience Award winner, recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to enhance awareness and appreciation of our nation’s parks, public lands, and waters.
Thank you for the stories, history, and inspiration, Ranger Johnson. 💚
