The coaching staff continues to rave about the improvement of redshirt senior defensive lineman Daniel Lyons this offseason.
Lyons has had 71 tackles (8.5 for loss), five sacks, and one forced fumble during his career with the Seminoles. The program could use the Florida native’s breakout to have a productive defensive unit in 2026.
Florida State has won seven games combined in the last two years, and the fan base doesn’t want to hear the coaching staff rave about players just for them to not perform. They want to see actions speak louder than words, and Lyons will have a ton to prove with a defensive line that has plenty of talent such as Mandrell and Darryll Desir, Kevin Wynn, and Rylan Kennedy. 🔥
