After nearly two years of planning, Christopher and Kim Iverson Headlee, along with their family and friends, honored their daughter, #CCU alumna Jessica Lynne Headlee '17, by deploying a memorial reef block approximately five miles off Cherry Grove. As part of the ccuguptacollege Smart Reef Initiative, Jessica's memorial reef block will serve as a living habitat for marine life and a lasting tribute to the life she loved so deeply. With the support of coastalalumni, the bccmws, and the Headlee family, Jessica's legacy will continue to inspire future generations of marine scientists while making a lasting impact beneath the waves.
