❗️The Chevy Camaro could be getting the comeback enthusiasts have been waiting for. Industry reports say a seventh-generation model may enter production in fall 2027 and arrive as a 2028 model. A major GM supplier reportedly indicated that the Camaro would be built at Lansing Grand River alongside the next Cadillac CT5 and a new Buick sedan, potentially using an updated version of GM’s excellent rear-drive Alpha platform. Turbocharged four-cylinder and V8 engines are being discussed, while manual and automatic transmissions remain possible, but none of those specifications have been confirmed by Chevrolet. Chevy already left the door open in 2023 when it said ending the sixth generation was not the end of the Camaro’s story.
