No headlights. A traffic stop. Loaded firearm and meth recovered. Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies patrolling Canyon Country observed a vehicle traveling near Whites Canyon Road without its headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted to warn and/or cite the driver. During the field investigation, deputies discovered the 36-year-old male driver was in possession of methamphetamine and a loaded firearm. The suspect, who was determined to be a convicted felon, was arrested on felony weapons and narcotics charges. He was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Jail, where he remains in custody. Keeping SCV safe, one stop at a time. 🚔 🚨 #LASD #SCV #CanyonCountry
