My quick initial thoughts on the 2026 Babolat Pure Aero 98: the first thing I noticed was that it felt stiffer than the previous version. Could be because I hit for three days straight but my forearm was definitely feeling it after. It took me a good two hours to find the sweet spot of the racquet but after that, I felt really good access to spin.l, easy power and depth. Being about 9 pts headlight, you do need to create your own power and spin so it’s definitely for the intermediate to advance players. Serves were one of my favorite shots to hit with this racquet.
