The suspect accused of driving a van into a crowd at Berlin’s Pride parade has been shot dead during a police operation at a garden complex in Spandau. Officers opened fire after Abdul Ballout, a 21-year-old German citizen with Lebanese heritage, allegedly tried to attack them with a knife.
