Ryan Coogler announced at Marvel Studios' Hall H panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2026 that he will direct a third 'Black Panther' film. The movie is set to release in theatres on December 15, 2028. Coogler appeared on stage with Letitia Wright and Winston Duke, where he confirmed that David Jonsson will play the new Black Panther.
