Downtown Portland is home to a dreamy romance-only bookstore. 📚❤️ Grand Gesture Books is owned and operated by book- and small business-lover Katherine Morgan. The book shop features a heavily curated array of the top romance titles. Grand Gesture’s selection reflects the desires of the rabid romance reading community, and the diverse tastes of the staff at the shop. Morgan’s love of romance literature was sparked by the works of jasminepics. “I first read “The Wedding Date in 2019 and fell in love with it immediately. It was one of the first romance books I discovered where it was about people of color…finally getting to see myself on the page was exhilarating.” The shop is filled with shelf talkers hand written by Morgan and other members of the Grand Gesture crew.
